fall 2021: new comic, new contract, merch sneak Pique!

It is our honor to announce our next limited comic series, one that blends real life, from the depths of a southern Indiana trailer park (shout out to Bedford!). Something about discussing contracts feels close enough to the law to be triggering to children of a certain type of park, but contractual obligations make the world go round, wheels on the bus, etc.still with me? Me either.

Meanwhile, all babbling behind us ; Chris’s wrk made for stunning simple clothing so damn casual I wish I was in the cast. Looking forward to cold weather for that hoodie, maybe the best hoodie we’ve ever known; perfect to fuel the rolling out these first 40 pages of its #1.

To publish Chris’s first work is an honor of the highest caliber; the whole nine yards; and furthermore - it’s been about a 9 month birth/re-bert cycle; since Pique and Chris linked up early on in 2021 for a couple of Swanskin designs, before he broke free from our demands only to return to immortalize Rico and finish his first series. Applause

…triumph in the midst of loves labor, and everything the images touch (t-shirts, hoodies, paper!) reflects the smooth edge of that love; A smoothness that only comes from mastering your craft, blending future, present, past, into something so pure and true where it’s going it won’t need roads…

Chris Rescnick is a barternder and cartoonist currently residing in Chicago, IL where he lives with “his wife and too many pets” (his words, not mine…) Skyline is a 3 issue limited series comic; It will see an initial first print this autumn of 100-200, for friends/family/collectors/press/and the notorious Diamond Distribution for consideration for a national roll out. What is there to consider? that’s what you gotta consider!..

Along with the ComiXology and First Print you can look for another thoughtfully conceived playlist curated by Chris and Pique; sort of a modern and maybe a bit more intimate listening experience; think of it like a soundtrack playing to the movie your experiencing from the images you’re holding in your hand.. so, you’re the projector? Or you’re the entire theater?!…something like that.
