Our first announcement comes fittingly in correlation with the subject of this post: storytelling.

We're excited to congratulate our good friend Kevin Howley, whose experimental short Then. Now. Next. has been officially accepted into the 2nd International Digital Storytelling Festival, taking place October 2–4, 2026, in Zakynthos, Greece.

This year's festival centers around the theme of community resilience—a fitting home for a project born during the uncertainty, fear, and isolation of the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Created through an exploration of digital storytelling and the creative possibilities of working with what was available in the moment, Then. Now. Next. looks at the anxiety of the present while still reaching toward the possibility of something brighter ahead.

We're incredibly proud to see Kevin's work finding an audience overseas and honored to celebrate this achievement alongside him.

And perhaps it's fitting that this announcement arrives as we're beginning to rethink a few things ourselves.

Over the coming weeks and months, we'll be doing some reworking around how this website tells the story of Pique Audio Visual—where we've been, what we've created, who has been part of the journey, and where we're headed next.

But more on that soon.

For now, congratulations, Kevin. Zakynthos, Greece—we're sending a little bit of Pique love your way.

Then. Now. Next.

And scene.
